Chipresetter for Canon CLI-8, PGI-5

What is it used for?

It is used to reset the ink level to "full" when using your refilled cartridge.

Why ?

Prevents you from having annoying and constant messages saying the cartridge is empty.
Refilled cartridges are not recognized as full because of the chip fixed on the cartridge (see image) which informs and controls the printer (and you) of the cartridge's ink level. This chipresetter makes the chip understand the cartridge is just like a new one.

How ?

Push the cartridge with the
chip towards the contacts
into the chipresetter.

The LED-light will flash,
wait 6 seconds, then
withdraw the cartridge.

Works on original cartridges as well as on compatibles. (The chip on compatibles must be an original one)
Battery driven for a lifespan of 500 refills.
Displays the ink level and warns you when its low just like a new one.
