| Ink is leaking from the print head. Can I still replace it ? |
|
No. Never replace your cartridge if it's leaking or you might damage your printer. Verify that you have sealed the holes correctly. Not sealing them hermetically will let oxygen escape and ink will flow out. For some models, it's common to have a few drops dripping out, or to have some leaking from the print head after refilling. In any case, place your cartridge on a kitchen plate and wait a few minutes till the overfilled quantity leaks out. Don't deposit it on absorbing paper, or it would absorb all the ink.
